On November 7 in the USU Beach Auditorium, The Department of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies, History, and Chicano and Latino Studies will be screening a sneak preview of a documentary in progress titled No More Babies for Life.

Investigating the history of Mexican American women who were sterilized at the Los Angeles County – USC Medical Center in the late 1960s and 70s, No More Babies for Life follows the story of a group of mothers, young Chicano/a lawyers and activists, and a doctor who all challenged institutions and called for justice.

Following the screening will be a moderated discussion and Q&A with producer Dr. Virginia Espino.
