The George L. Graziadio Center for Italian Studies presents Dr. Loredana Di Martino’s talk, “Crossing the Borders of Italian Feminism,” Thursday, Feb. 17th at 4PM PST.
“After providing some examples of Italian feminism’s longstanding colorblindness, this talk will focus on recent practices that seem to be reversing this tendency. Shifting the perspectives of transnational women, activists, and feminists increasingly to the center of mainstream feminist theorizing, these practices are beginning to develop what we might define as a critical white Italian feminism.”
