Black Communist Organizing and Capitalist Racism in the United States

You are cordially invited to a talk titled, “Black Communist Organizing and Capitalist Racism in the United States,” by Dr. Charisse Burden-Stelly. Dr. CBS’s talk will be based on her recent book, Black Scare/Red Scare: Theorizing Capitalist Racism in the United StatesDr. CBS is an Associate Professor of African American Studies at Wayne State University and Visiting Scholar at Harvard’s Warren Center for Studies in American History. She is a critical Black Studies scholar of political theory, political economy, intellectual history, and political and historical sociology.
