Mission Statement

Our mission at Not Alone @ the Beach (NATB) is to provide confidential support services to the CSULB community regarding sexual assault, interpersonal violence, stalking, domestic violence, sexual harassment and exploitation.  Our Confidential Campus Advocates offer crisis intervention and advocacy, individual counseling, accompaniment, referrals to current campus/community/legal resources, outreach, training and more.   Supported since 2015 by an ongoing grant from the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services, NATB is the primary source of cutting-edge gender and power-based violence prevention education, engagement and outreach to CSULB students, faculty, and staff.   We work to authentically engage our community and campus partners in our shared efforts at offering a holistic response to sexual violence and a safer, inclusive campus community.
