Research Talk: Global Capitalism and Genocide in Palestine

Join us for a research talk by Dr. William I Robinson titled, “Global Capitalism and Genocide in Palestine.” Dr. Robinson is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology, Latin American and Iberian Studies, and Global and International Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is an author of countless article and books on global capitalism and its contradictions. With Dr. Maryam S. Griffin, Dr. Robinson also published, We Will Not Be Silenced: The Academic Repression of Israel’s Critics. Here is his recent co-authored piece with Hoai-An Nguyen titled “Gaza: A Ghastly Window into the Crisis of Global Capitalism.” The lecture is sponsored by the Departments of Sociology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
