Scholarly Intersections Grant: Playing With Purpose a talk by Kotaku’s Games Editor Maddy Myers

Please join the History Department, American Studies, and American Indians Studies for a virtual talk with Maddy Myers a pop culture critic and writer who has worked at Paste Magazine, Kotaku, The Mary Sue, and is currently the Deputy Editor for Games at Polygon and a podcast host on the Maximum Fun network. She’ll talk about her experience as a women in the video games industry, about games criticism, and on the current role of video games in popular culture.
