Unlock Insights: APID Student Data & Reflections

May 9 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Project Resilience in collaboration with CSU APIDA Collective Grant is hosting a Spring Faculty and Staff event on May 9th from 12-2pm. Lunch will be provided as well as gift cards for those who participate and complete a survey. I am sending this email out to you as you are either a campus partner/collaborator or you have previously attended one of our faculty and staff workshops.

As we embrace the vibrancy of spring, we’re excited to invite you to a special event that promises insightful discussions and meaningful engagement. Our upcoming gathering will focus on exploring desegregated Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi (APID) data, coupled with a compelling student panel sharing their lived experiences alongside the data. Please feel free to spread the word to other colleagues in your department that may be interested.

Date: May 9th, 2024

Time: 12pm-2pm

Location: In Person at USU 304 (register here) and on Zoom (register here)

**Event Highlights:**

**1. Desegregated APID Data Presentation:**

Our distinguished speakers will delve into desegregated data, providing invaluable insights into the diverse APID community. By dissecting the data, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of the nuances within the APID population, shedding light on issues often overlooked in aggregated statistics.

**2. Student Panel: Lived Experiences and Perspectives:**

Hearing directly from our students is crucial in understanding the impact of data on real lives. A panel of students will share their lived experiences, offering personal narratives that complement and enrich the statistical data presented earlier. This segment promises to be enlightening and thought-provoking.

We encourage all faculty and staff to attend this event as we strive to deepen our understanding of the APID experience and promote inclusivity within our institution.

Please RSVP by May 1st 11:59pm to ensure your participation. If you have any questions or require further information, feel free to contact Renee Te

Let’s come together to celebrate diversity, knowledge, and the power of shared experiences. We look forward to seeing you there!
