Krista Coriaty

Krista Coriaty brings over 20 years’ experience in public relations and communications to the classroom. She is currently working as a Senior Communication Manager at Providence Health Plan, where she oversees internal communication strategy for the organization. Prior to that role, she served as communication manager for Providence’s provider groups and worked with a variety of agencies, hospitals and physician groups as a public relations consultant, specializing in health care employee communications, media relations and project management.

She has also held in-house public relations positions at the St. Joseph Health system office, St. Jude Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial/Miller Children’s Hospital.

Coriaty holds a master’s degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton, where her thesis project focused on crisis communications. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from California State University, Long Beach, with a minor in economics.
