Aki Lashes: Beauty brand in Carson is seeking a social media enthusiast with a strong and keen knowledge of social media platforms, marketing and publicity strategies. The social media marketing intern will assist with influencer outreach, create Pinterest and LinkedIn posts and newsletters, record video content during photoshoots and events, create TikTok videos in accordance with viral trends, and more. Beach House Group: This remote summer internship program offers the opportunity to join the Moon Oral Beauty Marketing Team. Beach House Group seeks a highly-organized, proactive, and passionate intern with a strong interest in social media and influencer marketing. Braun International Real Estate: This top-producing real estate team headquartered in Manhattan Beach seeks candidates for a social media internship. KATU: The ABC affiliate in Portland, Oregon, KATU ABC 2 seeks applicants for a broadcast journalism internship. As a News Department Intern, you will have the chance to contribute to the creation of compelling news stories, assist in research, conduct interviews, and witness the behind-the-scenes workings of a newsroom. You will work with reporters, anchors, producers, editors, and photographers, in-house and out in the field. You will receive training on how to produce a news segment from the control room, how to research and pitch a great story, how to operate camera equipment, what shots matter, and more. The San Francisco Standard: In this paid internship, the photo intern will work closely with industry professionals in the San Francisco newsroom and will be tasked with capturing photos of breaking news events, feature assignments and more. Interns must work on-site or in the field in San Francisco five days per week and have their own transportation for assignments in the city and the wider Bay Area. PADNET: The Public Access Digital Network (PADNET) is Long Beach’s community media center and public access television station (Spectrum 32 / Frontier 41). PADNET interns become serve as production assistants. PADNET trains interns in all aspects of studio and field production, from set design to lighting to audio. Interns also have a lot of post-production responsibilities, which include logging, transcribing and converting files. Interns also edit short promos, public service announcements, and long-form programming using Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X. The communications intern contributes to AHF’s mission by helping the associate director of social media. The company’s award-winning editorial internship program, overseen by Senior Editor Astgik Khatchatryan, provides college students instruction in fact-checking, magazine writing and critical thinking. Interns should be prepared to commit 10 to 15 hours a week for at least 12 weeks to this remote internship. Bring a Trailer: A part of the Hearst Autos family, Bring a Trailer is seeking a photography intern for its White Glove premium service team this summer.  The Hearst Magazines Summer Internship Program is a paid, full-time 11-week program for undergraduate rising juniors and seniors. The 2024 Gannett Forward Diverse 100 Summer Internship Program provides valuable experience to students and recent graduates seeking jobs and pursuing careers in journalism. The 2024 program is paid, lasts 12 weeks and is open to college juniors, seniors and recent graduates. Over the course of the 12-week internship, news and sports interns will be given an array of assignments that will build proficiency in covering breaking news, trending and service journalism, headline writing, social media promotion, photography, and videography. Modern Currency Public Relations: MCPR, boutique public relations and marketing agency based in Los Angeles, has four positions open for summer interns. Modern Currency Public Relations has three positions open for internships in hospitality and tourism public relations. The position will be fully integrated into the news operation, with the option of being remote or based in our DC office. The intern will be expected to hit the ground running in this fast-paced organization, offering strong news judgment, savvy ideas and clean copy. They will also be working closely with senior reporters to ensure USA Today has a robust, competitive and lively news file. You live in a dorm in Manhattan, and they place you in a full-time, paid internship with a top NYT media company. It’s open to all students and you do not need to be radio/TV focused.
