Susan Jacobs

Susan Jacobs has been the Director of Content Development since 2019. She has spent 30-plus years in journalism in various writing, editing and managerial roles in Gannett and The Southern California News Group (The Orange County Register, The Press-Telegram and The Daily Breeze). She is also a former professor at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where she taught journalism and public relations writing.

She is a proud product of an HBCU – Hampton University in Virginia – and is active in the Beach community with the Black Faculty and Staff Association and the President’s Equity and Change Commission.
