The Trauma of Caste

The South Asian Network is hosting an exciting event on Saturday, April 29 from 6:30-8:30pm in Artesia, they will be hosting Thenmozhi Soundararajan, author of “The Trauma of Caste” and executive director of Equality Labs, for a conversation on caste discrimination and its lingering effects in the South Asian community in the US. Importantly, Equality Labs partnered with CFA to advocate for adding of caste to the list of categories protected from discrimination at the California State University.
