BQE Analytic FA23

The analytic portion of the Basic Qualifying Exam (BQE) will be held on Sunday November 19th 2023 from 1:00pm–4:00pm. The exam will take place in LA5–149. Please get settled before the exam, and arrive early as needed. Bring a laptop. (A hybrid option may be available; so please speak with Prof. Rosenkrantz if you need to take it online or elsewhere.)
Note that there is normally a BQE orientation meeting. Prof. Rosenkrantz will be organizing this soon; in it, he will explain the nature of the exam, how to prepare, answer questions, et cetera. If you’re persuasive, he might also go through some old questions with you. Please consult the BQE orientation handout (and/or graduate handbook) for details. If further assistance is needed, please speak with Prof. Rosenkrantz.
It’s possible that there will be a hybrid option for the exam. If you need it, please let Prof. Rosenkrantz know in advance. The Zoom link will be provided.
