Newly Admitted Students (SOAR)
Welcome to the College of Liberal Arts!
As an incoming CLA student, you’ll complete two components to begin at CSULB:
1. Orientation – Reserve your space and attend your Orientation Workshop, facilitated by SOAR
2. Advising & Registration – Register for courses on your assigned Registration Date, facilitated by a CLA advisor

Hold Information
- Check for holds on your MyCSULB Student Center prior to registering
- SOAR Hold – Your SOAR Hold will be lifted once you attend your Orientation Workshop

No Longer Attending CSULB in Fall?
If you have previously accepted your offer of admission and have decided NOT to attend CSULB, please follow the Cancel Admission instructions.
